My name is Jordan it means "one which descends"
No, im not named after Micheal Jordan
No, i dont only wear Jordan's
No, im not from the country of Jordan

I go to Westchester
Where no one wants to be the same, but they usually are,
Where everybody is the baddest and no one takes shit from anyone,
Where the popular reign over the intelligent,
Where its reputation as a "fashion forward" school has been demolished,
Where Jerking has brainwashed the new found freshmen all the way up to the matured seniors,
Where regions of the school are segregated into small ghettos,
Where everyone overlooks the smallest signs of beauty because "if aint light skin with curly hair we not fukkin' with it"
Where good teachers are almost un heard of,

I live in South Central,
I dont consider myself to be a product of my environment, only taught by it,
I usually travel to get to places that i enjoy , but i definitely dont overlook its splendor,
I cant walk too far without either being banged on , or over hearing "what does he have on"

People often have a misconceptions of me,
Because im tall and African American , doesn't mean i wanna be on the starting line up of the Lakers,
Because I dress a distinctive way doesn't mean i dress "white" or "gay"

I have an issue with people who pass judgement on issues they don't understand,
I love most of mankind,
I have a brand new love of photography, no i dont wanna be like whats his face or ol' girl, i just realized that this is one of the only ways to capture life in all its essence in a still photograph,
